In addition to our client work, MediaTank is an independent production company that produces original documentary works, including feature films and documentary series. These projects have included the two award-winning feature documentary films listed below.

Directed & Produced by Michael Kleiman, Web follows the One Laptop per Child (OLPC) program in Peru. The film tells the story of two villages - one in the Andes Mountains and one in the Amazon Jungle - connecting to the Internet for the first time and features interviews with Vint Cerf, Jimmy Wales, Anne-Marie Slaughter, Clay Shirky, Nicholas Negroponte and Richard Clarke.
Awards: Audience Award, 2013 DOC NYC Film Festival; Special Jury Prize in Documentary, 2014 Atlanta Film Festival; Official Selection, 2014 Miami Film Festival.

Co-Directed & Co-Produced by Michael Kleiman, The Last Survivor follows the lives of survivors of four different genocides and mass atrocities - the Holocaust, Rwanda, Darfur and Congo - as they rebuild their lives in the aftermath of tragedy and work to combat future horrors.

Produced by MediaTank and co-directed and co-produced by Michael Kleiman, BEYOND tells the story of a group of incarcerated men at Sing Sing organizing and preparing for a TED-style event that showcases their personal narratives and ideas for changing the prison system. With unprecedented access to Sing Sing, the film follows the emotional journeys of the speakers from their first auditions to their climactic moments on stage, highlighting themes of vulnerability, healing and redemption.
The film is currently in post-production and gearing up for a release in late 2025.
